Decadence
The bright colors on the walls still display how the place was vibrant and popular to dance, have a good company and have some drinks.
Cars jammed the adjacent streets carrying couples conjuring moments of expected passion swarming in the large rooms full of lively music, laughs and continuous agitation. Love stories had new hope by a column protected from the light; sad stories also had their endings at corner tables.
All circles discussed the fame of the point; everybody wanted to be seen there and liked to brag about being there. It was a reference in the region.
Nobody knows why and how but suddenly its popularity was no longer beating and the hit was not to be there anymore. The downfall was swift and merciless.
Today, parking spots are available anytime and the admission fee is no longer required. No more music, no more laughs. Survived the stories lived in the hearts of the nostalgic couples…

07/03/2017 05:32How come we are so attracted to ruins and abandoned places ? Fascinating !
By the way you highlight colors and sharpness in these pictures, you bring these Frankenstein places back to life. Congratulations !

07/03/2017 14:31Thank you, Sébastien! I really love investigating and documenting these places! Pity that around here there aren’t many and all of them out of reach by us.

Bressan
07/03/2017 14:33Maybe, Cajo! We all have the ascending line, the top of the life and then decrepitude. The secret is to extend the middle part as long as possible… Thanks!
